“Delicious” was the name of the show at 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery. This is a response to the wonderful invitation to participate. I love the challenge of rendering a variety of surfaces. White china is beautiful in that it has its own lustre and reflects the world of colours around it. Painting food was a new challenge – the shine on the surface of a fresh lemon curd, the way a cut strawberry glistens: both fun to paint. Thank you Cheryl for posing the challenge!
