One of my favourite subjects to paint is the barn here at Twelve Acre Hill. The faded shingles and trim work are beautiful shades of grey and sandstone, and areas have taken on a hue of subtle mossy green. The simple wood buttons that have held doors closed for so many years and have been turned by so many hands always draw my attention.
