Ross Red – so titled for the beautiful glowing red paint on the kitchen door at Ross Farm Museum in New Ross, Nova Scotia. The passage of time and the history of use is visible in scars and blemishes that have been left for posterity. It’s not difficult to imagine the sound of the slide of the deadbolt and the rattle of the latch.
