This painting was the first painting I did in response to an invitation to participate in a show at 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery in Halifax. The show was called “Delicious”. My first stop was at my dear friends the Langstaff’s for a visit and a wander through their dining room cabinets. Meals at their table are always delicious, and in my eye so is the collection of china, linens and silver that make every visit so special.
This is a painting that I loved doing in honour of good friends and fine tradition. Did I mention that I love macarons? Delicious.
