Wake

I have been fortunate enough to travel from Peggy’s Cove to Halifax by boat. The day I did it the seas were rough and the sky heavy with grey clouds. It was a unique perspective on a place that I have visited via land all of my life. The power of the sea was evident in the depth of the swell and the cold of the dark water. The temporary trail that our small boat left on the waves was mesmerizing to watch as it curled away from the sides of the boat and fanned out only to disappear soon after. Wake.
