Lexicon Word – “Labyrinthine”
Peggy’s Cove is about the cove, the village, the lighthouse and the rocks. I think above all, the rocks. The shapes and contours create a maze as one tries to move across the landscape. Crevasses thwart one’s movement forcing a change of direction in search of a new path to take to one’s destination. Ups and downs, circuitous paths, leaps and bounds across chasms are part of the game of exploring the labyrinth that is the rocky landscape of Peggy’s Cove.
Currently available at Round Hill Studio in Annapolis Royal as a part of the group show “Lexicon”.
