Poppies have to be one of the most vibrantly coloured flowers in our garden. For the short period that they are in bloom they thrust their heads above their neighbours and pull focus. Sometimes they appear orange and other times red. Their foliage with it’s silver green colour and feathery leaves covered in fine hairs adds much interest in the garden. It’s a shame that they come and go so quickly.
